Hello, All. My attempt to gather all known personal stories (long or short) of former UBF members is taking shape at http://exubf.blogspot.com. This is a continuation of the list that was started at http://exubf.info. Let me know if you'd like/need to be included.

Hi, Thanks for contacting me. I finally figured out how to add my 'testimony' to the rsqubf list. You can copy it to your archives if you'd like.

I'm sorry, but I feel that Peter Chang (Columbus Ohio chapter leader during the 80s and 90s) should not be included in the testimonies posted on the blogspot. He caused many of the troubles I experienced during the 10+ years I was in UBF. He is a hypocrite because he committed many of the offenses he complained about in that letter. He has no justification for being included in a site dedicated to victims of abuses he was instrumental in perpetrating.

This is a charge that, unfortunately, could apply to a lot of people listed at exubf.blogspot.com, including me (and especially Koreans who were in leadership positions). The difference is a later realization that the things we thought we were doing for God were totally wrong, abusive and cultic. I realize that what's posted at exubf for Peter Chang was written at a stage in his UBF exit process in which he was still very much in a UBF mindset (still praising Samuel Lee and exaggerating the importance of UBF). I should probably add his 2001 apology to Jim Bouldin. Even in that apology, he's not totally owning up to the magnitude of his wrong-doings (maybe trying to justify his acts from the infamous "cultural differences" angle), but still, far better than the non-apologies you'll get from the current crop of totally corrupt UBF leaders.
