Empowering and Active Integration
3rd-Mar-2012 10:44 am

What is "active integration"? Thank God my family doesn't have to find out. The thoughts on these 2nd gen websites (created by 1st gen Koreans) documents the unspoken and undocumented concerns and fears I had for years.

Basic strategy of Active Integration:

- 2nd gens and shepherds need help equally.
- Priority: Have clear priority whether children or mission come first.
- It is the Holy Spirit who does the work. But the 2nd gens need help in following the guidance of the Holy Spirit: God’s word, spiritual value system, spiritual training

Here is the redefining vocabulary tactic in plain site. Faith, identity and vision are all re-defined and bound to UBFism:

  • Faith (insight and values): faith in God is the foundation of life. (“Go back to the Bible!”)
  • Identity: identity as a people belonging to God and global leaders. (1 Peter 2:9)
  • Vision: God’s vision toward me and my people. Understanding the importance of inheriting and passing down the spiritual legacy.

The website even asks "who are the next generation". A deceptive answer is given... everyone in leadership knows that ONLY the Korean children of Korean UBF missionaries are the true "2nd gens". Any other race is involved only as a form of appeasement.

Who are the “NEXT GENERATION” we are referring to?

Most studies define next generation leaders as individuals under the age of 40. According to the book „The Young Evangelicas“ by Robert E. Webber, the young generation refer to those born after 1975. This young generation, namely the next generation from a new leader group for the 21 century.

And finally...empowering through Viagra...(I know this is just spam...but the forum is obviously not active. Why leave it out there?)

3rd-Mar-2012 03:59 pm (UTC) - empowering Koreans survey
The link below has two PDF files that describe how UBF 1st gens are planning to pass on the ministry to UBF 2nd gens, which means Koreans (I have the PDFs downloaded for safekeeping in case the links disappear):

The survey mentioned in these PDF files was sent to me last year. I took the survey, at first thinking that maybe UBF has changed and really cares about empowering Americans or Russians or Germans. But the survey was clearly aimed at Korean children. There was no mistaking it.

Although these files are in Korean, they reveal much about UBF's real plans.

"In the early 1980s, 23 missionaries worked as sewing-machine operators for pioneering campus mission in Canada. When the application for sewing-machine operators was advertised through the Canadian Human Resources Development Center, 100 UBF members applied. Among them, the UBF chose 30 persons and trained them intensively for three months, even buying them 20 sewing-machines."

Why doesn't somebody explain what really happened in Winnepeg? This has always been a secret and I don't know the details. I heard that Canadian law enforcement was involved. Does anyone have a testimony or article about Winnepeg?

What Kevin Jesmer told me was that UBF was banned from University of Manitoba and that there was a lot of bad press from former members and their parents, including his own mom.

There had been some postings on the old voy forum. Somebody wanted to write down the full history of Canada UBF, but it never happened.

"Don Kuper could have enjoyed his life in America but he decided to go out for God’s mission in Argentina."

No one ever mentions the fact that I sacrificed over $20,000 and uprooted my family when I sold our house and bought his so he could leave America. So glad that God is being honored while I nearly went bankrupt, thinking I was "serving God". But I guess that is what it means to be part of the "fertilizer generation", as I was labelled.

"Priority: Have clear priority whether children or mission come first."

For any normal Christian and Bibel reader, this is not a question at all. Spouse comes first, then children, then neighbours and firends then the rest of the world. If you can't care for your children, you can't serve as a shepherd in the church. And if you really want to put priority to mission, then don't marry and get children. It's as simple as that. UBF has all the real core values of life and the Bible mixed up and replaced with their own core values.

Creepy, yes. It does get pretty insane at times. I found many similarities to the Borg and their assimilation process. (I'm not joking: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borg_(Star_Trek)#Assimilation)

Here are some movies that helped me unbind my mind from the UBF teachings:

- "Good"
- "Downfall"
- "Amen"
- "Tangled"
- "Wrecked"
- "The Lorax"
- "Monsters Inc."
- "Mars Needs Moms"
- "The Hunger Games"
- "Megamind"
- "Despicable Me"

I used to watch Star Trek! Hahahaha! I figured out how to defeat the University Borg Fellow-Ship! Openly and honestly and with an attitude of defiance, and impenetrable focus they did not return.
Its really true the kind of hold the Devil can get on us when we find something other than God to fill that Spiritual void and with membership in University Bible Fellowship that is more than enough to invite demonic possession, soulful death, or both. I was blessed by God to have the desire to look deep for what other Christians were saying on God and such, for the need alone to pursue a life in the Spirit after what I survived through was so great, I knew in order to get completely healed and growing in the Lord I would need to do it right and with His Answer. So when I was away from University Bible Fellowship, I was fortunate enough to get that Good voices direction to watch Everyday Living with Joyce Meyers, Manna Fest with Perry Stone, Joseph Prince, Pat Robertson and much of the Programming on T.B.N. of Jan and Paul Crouch. Let me tell you, in the end it was the Holy Spirit speaking through them and their works that reaped such plentiful blessings, healing's and Growth in Christ for so many that I began to notice a stark contrast with the "other brand". There are televangelist to beware of just as University Bible Fellowship, but the ones with God's Grace are doing an incredible assistance to all Christians and unbelievers and are really using social media to spread the word of God and grow their Ministries which I believe is perfectly acceptable and encouraged by God. They can channel in all over the World now from television. Anyhow, it really was the message many of these Preachers were giving and how powerful some of them were and then the contrast to the crap that was being vomited from University Bible Fellowship. It got so intense towards the end of my time in U.B.F., because the Message's that were being handed out from the Pastor I would be watching, or the true Testimony one was giving, were speaking out against the "strange happenings" that were now constant at U.B.F. and many on the SAME DAY THEY OCCURRED TO ME! I tell you right now, the instant I started sharing that I want to be a Pastor of a Church someday and do Missionary Work, which was around the time I told U.B.F. 'Bible Teacher' I was watching some programming about Biblical Books I could not even finish before the torrent became. I had people in my life who were unbelievers now talking about Pastor's with problems, or openly speaking against Christianity, I had the U.B.F. 'Bible Teacher' have a furious argument with me on the matter and the later the 'Bible Teacher' gave a 'Message' within a 'Message' not to watch those "televangelists" and then mocked me in front of everyone and it just became crazy happenings all over. From what I have learned Satan will attack your weaknesses, but either way he will never leave until a death do us part. I even heard if you seek to go into Ministry, or serve God in anyway the Devil will come out and try to disrupt it. Now this is automatic for those renewing their Faith like myself and I imagine anyone leaving U.B.F. What's crazy is when I was about leave U.B.F. and even right when I left I got messages from God everywhere, whether I was watching a program on warnings of attending a Dead Church and such, or talking about people that are religious and not Christian and the danger, to God speaking in my heart during prayer and so on. Brother it was crazy to me at first! What bothers me most, is the near seven months that I remained in much of my former Sinful Nature making little progress in really breaking away from it and the teaching's of theirs that are really about doubt and disbelief and looking to oneself. I am just grateful to have landed on my feet and I have made definite leaps in my life serving God by finding a Christian Church with real Bible Studies at an incredible pace and in just a few weeks. That makes me feel even more positive about going forward.

What do you think/know of Sarah Barry A.K.A. 'Mother' Barry?
8th-May-2012 01:19 pm (UTC) - Re: What's up Brother!
Hi 4eva, I won't go into a lot of detail about people on a public forum, but I will say that I have met with her in person many times. Most recently, last year, my wife and I spent over 6 hours in person discussing numerous issues with UBF. So I can tell you that she personally knows all about these issues.
8th-May-2012 07:07 pm (UTC) - Re: What's up Brother!
I do not know here, but it seems to me they have pushed her aside into a role. We can chat elsewhere for sure and do not worry about covering me for a meal, kinda sounds like U.B.F. bribery.....Just joking! Keep in touch and I will check you out on the other site. I am just focused right now on exposing to all who come across what I experienced in U.B.F. with respect and accuracy like the rest.
7th-May-2012 08:57 pm (UTC) - I Got real Testimony Here
Let all those who do and do not know of U.B.F. read! NOW THIS IS A TESTIMONY I LIKE! You have anymore places postings of peoples experiences at U.B.F. let me know compadre! I just feel so much better sharing this after having that U.B.F. 'Missionary' stand over me and let loose that sinful pile of crap and claim it was good for me, then going off all self-righteous and attempting to do it to another. Oohh well, cannot let it bother. I forgive them all, but Nevertheless. You know!!! =)
8th-May-2012 03:26 am (UTC) - One More Thing
