Post-Samuel Lee UBF

Any information on the post-Samuel Lee UBF? I heard there is no new, vibrant young leadership, and that the older founding members are fading into the background.

There's been no official acknowledgment of past wrong-doing. But there are the usual claims of "we've changed."

There are the usual nauseating slogans, credited to Samuel Lee, posted and repeated at most major chapters of UBF. (http://wiki.ubfriends.net/index.php?title=UBF_Spiritual_Heritage) As could be expected, the gospel of grace is subsumed by the performance emphasis in these slogans.

Their last international conference in August featured yet greater airbrushing of UBF's history, another middle finger to its many victims. The conference concluded with the new General Director introducing himself by saying, "I love you, and I love UBF!"

What is the name of the new "General Director?" Is he American, Korean American, Korean, or second-generation Korean?

The new GD is a Korean named Moses Yoon, who had been in England for some years and was a leader in Seoul after that.

From 2012-2015, there was some noise about a UBF "Ethics and Accountability Committee". There were some indications that an acknowledgement of past wrongdoing might happen. One member of this Committee popped in occasionally at the old ubfriends site (https://bit.ly/2AwFzUx) and seemed open to suggestions.

At the 2013 UBF international conference in Pittsburgh, there was even an official Ethics and Accountability interest group meeting. Five years later, all UBF ethics and accountability issues were completely resolved apparently, so there was no need for any sort of followup at the 2018 international conference. And I've already mentioned the thoroughly airbrushed history that was presented at this conference.
