"One thing to watch for when assessing a person's spiritual fitness for ministry is how he or she relates to children."

Children are not valued in ubf. UBF children are not suppose to go to the Sunday services, but to a babysitter. Plus, they are frequently left with babysitters to attend all other meetings and conferences "for the sake of mission". Jesus welcomed little children and blessed them.

However, as I've observed, a "fellowship leader" badly in need of numbers will "welcome" children to conferences if they are "North American" children.

That is being used. As has already been mentioned in other posts, children are used for ubf purposes - and there are many examples of that. But, then again, so are their parents. The only difference is parents are expected to neglect their children "for the sake of mission" = ubf.
