Life of a 2nd gen in UBF
14th-Aug-2006 11:22 pm
There is a life testimony of a UBF 2nd gen posted on Chicago UBF website. It shows very realistically about the life of a UBF 2nd gen. One can see how a UBF 2nd gen's life is controlled and being "pushed" by using the Bible. The 2nd gen writes very honestly about his misery and struggle to live under the UBF culture where condemnation prevails.

He also mentions the difficulty to live with UBF Korean parents who are UBF missionaries. You will see that UBF Korean missionaries apply their Korean-style parenting to "discipling" their sheep and UBF-style discipling to their parenting. One will conclude after reading the life testimony that the whole UBF paradigm of serving God's work should be dismantled since it is only based on Korean culture but never on the Bible.

Nobody seems to understand this poor 2nd gen. His parents are just trying to mold their son into a loyal UBF member. And everyone in UBF is collaborating to achieve this goal. I think that they are trying to suffocate him. They must teach him the truth and freedom in the Gosepel of Jesus. Otherwise, they will only make his heart hard toward God. They might succeed in making him a loyal UBF member. But they will never succeed in making him a true child of God. I think that his parents have more problem than he does. The best way to solve the problem is to for the parent to leave UBF with their son. I did and it is working.

17th-Aug-2006 12:40 am (UTC) - God's chosen people??
The UBF 2nd gen writes: "After reading my life testimony, Shepherd Daniel Lee gave me Exodus 19:6 as my life key verse. "You will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites."

The focal point of indoctrination by shepherd Daniel Lee seems to be that the 2nd gen is God's chosen people. We see that the theme of God's chosen people is repeated in the life testimony. Even the one word of the life testimony is I am God’s chosen people.

The UBF indoctrination is based on Exodus 19:6. But the idea of God's chosen people applied to the UBF 2nd gen by shepherd Daniel Lee is not what Exdosu 19:6 teaches. Shepherd Daniel Lee is just using Exodus 19:6 to indoctrinate the 2nd gen in order to make him a loyal Samuel Lee worshiper.

Shepherd Daniel Lee indoctrinated the 2nd gen to believe that to become God's chosen people means to become a loyal UBF member. So the UBF 2nd gen is being indoctrinated to think that if he doesn't become a loyal UBF member, he would be disobeying God's will for him. He thinks that not working hard for UBF ministry is a sin of easy-going and pleasure-seeking life. This is clearly a false teaching.

To become God's chosen people doesn't mean to become a loyal UBF member. To become God's chosen people doesn't mean to absolutely obey UBF leaders. To become God's chosen people doesn't mean to absolutely devote to UBF mission. To become God's chosen people doesn't mean to worship and glorify Samuel Lee. To become God's chosen people doesn't mean to inherit Samuel Lee's legacy. To become God's chosen people doesn't mean to not complain about UBF leaders' sin. To become God's chosen people doesn't mean to not conform to UBF culture.

To become God's chosen people means to become loyal to God even if one has to be disloyal to UBF. To become God's chosen people means to complain about UBF leaders' sin even if the UBF leaders are his/her parents. To become God's chosen people means to abandon Samuel Lee's wrong legacy instead of glorifying Sameuel Lee's false theology.

The poor 18 year boy is not learning how to become God's chosen people from shepherd Daneiel Lee as he believes it to be the case. He is only learning how to obey UBF system even if he feels that something is worng about it. His good grades are not helping him here. I feel so disgusted that his parents are doing this to him. They are basically sacrificing their son on the altar of UBF business. They are sacrificing their son on the altar of the glirification of Samuel Lee. But they seem to believe that they are sacrificing their son as Abraham was ready to sacrifice Isaac to obey God.
